Some families simply remind you what love looks like.

Maria has been a dear friend of mine for many years. Our friendship began through our shared love of creativity and her beautiful artistic sense — something I have always admired in her. Together with Sergey, she has created a family that, for me, is a true example of warmth, love and partnership. They support each other so naturally, and there is something incredibly tender in the way they are together.

I first photographed their son as a newborn, at home in those precious first days of his life. A year later, we continued his story with a beautiful first birthday celebration by the river, surrounded by family, nature and a relaxed boho atmosphere.

For me, this is more than a family story. It is a story about two people who love each other deeply and are building a beautiful life together — one year, one memory, one photograph at a time..
